The Director General of SAR, in the company of other directors of the company, proceeded to the inauguration of the new offices of its technical partner in the project to increase the capacity and adaptation of units for the treatment of Senegalese crude oil; Technip. The new Technip offices are located in Zone C and are already operational.
The site manager, Mr Sohel GHORAYEB, received Mr Serigne Mboup and his colleagues for a visit to Technip’s new facilities. It is a work space that can accommodate up to sixty people with new furniture that allows Mr GHORAYEB’s collaborators to work in a good atmosphere. The organisation of the workspace combines comfort and functionality with around twenty offices.
The different entities of the team, although not on the same floor, have offices facing each other to facilitate collaboration. There are also other facilities such as the “Dakar” meeting room, located on the ground floor of the structure, which has one floor. There is also a refectory and toilets for men and women.
Following the visit to the offices, the CEO and his colleagues visited the green areas that will be developed on the site and which are investments by the companies providing the project. This was followed by a visit to the storage warehouse. With a very large capacity, it is one of the strategic locations of the project.
At the end of the visit, Mr Mboup praised the quality of the infrastructure which, it should be recalled, will be the property of the SAR at the end of the project, as well as all the other facilities linked to this project. He also congratulated the Senegalese companies which, in application of the law on local content, have been selected to offer a quality service. This is the case of TTI, which has distinguished itself very well in the conduct of the work entrusted to it.
Other actions are expected to improve the base of the project which will receive its green space next week after a human investment; a gift from all the companies involved in the project.
